Máximo Diego Pujol is a composer, performer and teacher whose work is inspired by the musical heritage of his native Argentina. He draws on the music of the region around the Río de La Plata, as well as from the different musical forms found in other parts of Argentina. His compositions fuse these elements with more formal European arrangements.  You can hear some of his music here or on his website.

Following a highly successful visit to Cambridge in October 2016, Máximo returned to UK in November 2018 as part of his European tour.  These pages summarise his visit and give links to recordings made live at his Cambridge concert.

We hope that Máximo will visit again in 2020.  Do let us know if you want to be kept up-to-date!
